Lisa and Mark had endured rain and snow each time we met prior to the wedding and the day before the skies looked dark and cold. But on their day, the rain held off until everyone was inside for the reception. Today it is raining again. Something was on their side yesterday at The Springhill Pavilion north of Bozeman because the day was perfect and the lighting was perfect. I love photographing at this venue.

The day was a chance for me to get to know Lisa and Mark even better along with their families. What fun and loving people. They made my job so easy. Thanks so much.

Leslie's decorations, planning and flowers were amazing........thanks Leslie for making another relaxed and seemless event with great beauty!

And of course.....the people at Springhill Pavilion are the best to work with as well and the grounds are the best.

Last Friday Justine and Ryan tied the knot the Woodlands in Cottonwood Canyon outside Bozeman. It rained and rained and then rained. All the time the couple and their families stayed relaxed, moved the ceremony indoors and walked out of the ceremony to a beautiful Montana summer evening.

The wedding was beautiful, sweet and so perfect for Justine and Ryan.

This past weekend I photographed Kim and Aaron's wedding the Bozeman Riverside Country Club. They were so happy and their families seemed to have a fantastic time soaking up the warm sunshine and love of the day. I've photographed at Riverside before and this wedding was no exception to their tremendous service and incredible food.

From the engagement session throughout; Kim and Aaron were such a sweet couple and so much fun to be with.

Condoleezza Rice...private concert fundraiser

Last week I photographed former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and the Muir String Quartet when they perfomed a private concert in a Bozeman area home. It was a night of fantastic music. Politics took a back seat and music took the forefront as Condoleeza benefactors from around Bozeman used the event to raise money for the very deserving Bozeman-based organization "Classics for Kids Foundation".

Here's the mission statement from their website:

Empower young people to shape positive futures through music

Build sustainable stringed instrument music programs

Provide stringed instrument grants and mentoring

Support stringed instrument education for all children

Anni and RJ came from Kentuky today to talk about their 2010 wedding at Chico Hot Springs, Montana and to have an engagement session in Bozeman. Lucky us; they had just gotten six samples of cakes from Chico Hot Springs to decide on flavors for their wedding cake. We vote for the champagne-rasberry and the chocolate. Thanks for the studio treats.
